About Riley Moore
Welcome to Riley’s Kitchen Table! I’m Riley Moore, a 34-year-old home cook from Asheville, North Carolina. I started this blog to share easy, flavor-packed recipes that feel like home. What began as a small project for friends and family turned into a trusted space for home cooks looking for approachable comfort food, with a bold twist.
I didn’t train in a professional kitchen, but I did grow up surrounded by the real heart of cooking, my family. My grandmother’s pies, my dad’s weekend barbecue, and my own love for baking cakes and all things sweet shaped the cook I am today. At age seven, I burned my mom’s cast iron skillet trying to make pancakes. That moment lit the fire, and I haven’t left the kitchen since.

Here on Pan To Plate, I focus on the kinds of recipes people crave: Delicious main dishes, comforting cakes, easy desserts, and buttery, flaky pies that actually work. I test everything in my own kitchen, with real ingredients and real-life schedules in mind. If it’s on the blog, it’s been cooked more than once and carefully refined, because you deserve recipes you can count on.

Each post includes step-by-step guidance, helpful tips, and flavor-first ideas designed for beginner and seasoned home cooks alike. My goal is to help you feel relaxed and excited in your kitchen, whether you’re baking your first pie or hosting dessert night for friends.
I truly hope Pan To Plate will be your first stop when you need a recipe. I’m thankful you’re here to join the baking adventure!
